Lamb Kofta & Tomato Chutney

Kit Contains:

Tyga Masala No. 2 Tyga Masala No.14

Lamb Kofta

You will need to buy: 1 Large Onion 2 Garlic cloves 500g Lamb Mince 3 tbs Vegetable/ Olive Oil

Cook:

  1. Finely dice the onion and garlic.
  2. Mix together the garlic, Tyga Masala No.2, Kashmiri Chilli (� tsp mild, 1 tsp medium 1� tsp hot), onion, pinch of salt and lamb mince until the mixture has blended well. Divide into 8 balls, then flatten each ball on a board to form a flat pattie.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan on a medium heat and cook for 3-4 mins each side. Wait until they are sealed or the meat will stick to the pan.

Tomato Chutney

You will need to buy: Salt 1tbs Vegetable/Rapseed/Olive Oil 1 x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes 1 Onion 2 Cloves of Garlic 1 fresh Chilli (optional) 1 bunch coriander leaves

Cook:

  1. Thickly slice the onion.
  2. Chop the coriander.
  3. Add the garlic cloves and onion to the vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, stirring continuously, for 4 minutes or until the onions are soft.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, Tyga Masala No. 14 (� tsp for mild, 1 tsp for medium and 1 � tsp for hot), coriander and salt.
  5. Bring to the boil and cook for a further 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Set aside to cool.
  7. Blend in a food processor (or use a hand blender) until smooth.
