Garlic Chilli Raita
- 400g natural yoghurt
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tbs honey
- coriander
- 1/2 onion
Saag Aloo
500g potatoes/new potatoes
1x medium onion
1x 200g spinach
coriander (Optional)
1tbs tomato puree
2tbs vegetable/rapeseed oil
1tsp salt

Garlic Chilli Raita
Prep:
- Finely dice the onion.
- Mix together the onion, yoghurt, Tyga Masala No. 14 (1/2 tsp for mild, 1tsp for medium and 1 1/2 tsp for hot), lemon juice, honey and a handful of chopped coriander.
- Transfer the fridge until ready to serve.
Saag Aloo
Prep:
- Turn oven on 200C.
- Finely dice the onions.
- Peel and cut the potatoes into bite size chunks. (if using new potatoes cut in half)
- If using chop the coriander.
Cook:
- Heat a large lidded pan heat over a medium heat add the 2 tbs oil, Ginger and Garlic Paste, 1tsp salt and onions, cook for 4/5 minutes, Stirring continuously.
- Over a low heat add Tyga Masala No. 7, Tomato Puree and Kashmiri Chilli (1/2 tsp mild, 1tsp medium, 2tsp hot) stir for 2 minutes.
- Stir in 100ml water, add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, so that it does not stick.
- Add the spinach. Cover with a lid for about 1 minute, then stir the spinach into the potato. Cover again with a lid and cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until the potato is cooked.
- Sprinkle with chopped coriander if using and serve.

Tyga Masala No. 14: (garlic powder 50% & Chilli powder 40%), 10% chilli flakes.Ginger & Garlic Paste: (Ginger, Garlic, Citric acid, Sea salt, Ascorbic acid, Potassium sorbate, Sodium Metabisulphite). Tyga Masala No. 7: (Ground Coriander 4g, Ground Turmeric 1.5g)
Each of the dried ingredients included in the kits has a shelf life of around 9 months, whilst the Ginger and Garlic Paste lasts for around 6 months. Simply pop the paste in the fridge when it arrives to keep it looking beautiful. A list of all allergens is clearly labelled in the box. All of our food is packaged in the same place so may contain: gluten, eggs, nuts, soya, milk, celery, fish, mustard or sesame and may not be suitable for small children.
